Public Work Engineering Area

The Unit is responsible for complex public works of general interest to be carried out in the region, from feasibility studies to "turnkey” delivery.

Specifically, the Unit’s activities comprise general coordination in the implementation phase and support to the Shareholder Entities in identifying the implementation solutions to be adopted, urban and building design, project management and safety coordination.

Furthermore, it is the Contracting Authority for Public Works above the EU threshold (for amounts of 30-60 million Euros) and Architecture and Engineering Services (AES), and it is certified in accordance with the ISO 9001:2015 standard.
