Clone of Skills Intelligence
Skills Intelligence Emilia-Romagna is an initiative of the Emilia-Romagna Region, implemented by ART-ER, in accordance with Article 7 of Regional Law 2/2023 concerning the attraction, retention, and enhancement of highly specialized talent in Emilia-Romagna, and Objective 6 of the Manifesto for Talent Attraction in Emilia-Romagna. This objective supports the development and strengthening of the regional skills intelligence information system for the processing and dissemination of information regarding the demand and supply of skills.
The initiative is carried out with the support of the European Social Fund+ 2021-2027 and the collaboration of the Emilia-Romagna Regional Employment Agency, Unioncamere Emilia-Romagna, all the Clust-ER associations, the Big Data association, and MUNER.
Skills Intelligence Emilia-Romagna consists of 3 macro-actions for the creation and strengthening of the permanent regional system for anticipating the needs for highly specialized skills:
- The interactive tool that collects and provides data on skills and professional profiles sought by companies in Emilia-Romagna operating in the specialization areas of the regional Smart Specialization Strategy. The tool is accessible at: https://emiliaromagnainnodata.art-er.it/skills-intelligence-emilia-romagna/
- The multi-stakeholder focus groups which, through discussion on the skills needs of the region, integrate quantitative analysis with qualitative analysis. Participants in the focus groups include members of the Clust-ERs as well as external stakeholders such as employment services, headhunters, chambers of commerce, associations, local authorities, and many others. >> Report focus group 2024
- Dissemination and support actions for training bodies, ITS (Higher Technical Institutes), universities, AFAM (Institutions of Higher Artistic, Musical and Choreographic Education), and any other interested parties in the region, regarding the use of the approach and tools for updating and designing training or guidance pathways aligned with the needs of the region.
Furthermore, the system contributes to some of the publications produced annually to monitor the demand and supply of highly specialized skills in Emilia-Romagna, within the framework of the regional Talent Observatory.
