The Unit promotes and supports the preparation, implementation, and monitoring of regional environmental policies (air and water management, green public procurement, pollution prevention, and circular economy), also through specific communication initiatives and the design of participatory processes.
Through European projects and participation in national and international networks and working groups, it anticipates the introduction of international strategies and trends in sustainable production and consumption, as well as ecological transition, within the regional territory.
It also provides support to the Regional Sports Observatory (management of application procedures for sector support programs and reporting) and the implementation of the Regional Law for the Promotion of Solidarity Economy (LR 19/2014).
