The Regional Accreditation Body was established by Regional Law No. 26 of 2004 to implement the functions set out in relation to thermal systems and the certification of buildings’ energy performance.
Specifically:
Article 25-quater, paragraph 6 assigns to the Body the activities required for the management, control and inspection of thermal systems, including through the regional register CRITER. These functions are carried out by ART-ER S.cons.p.a. in accordance with Regional Regulation No. 1/2017, as subsequently amended.
Article 25-ter, paragraph 2 assigns to the Body the responsibility of ensuring the full and effective operation of the energy performance certification system for buildings, through the SACE digital platform, which is also managed by ART-ER S.cons.p.a., as set out in Regional Government Resolution No. 1275/2015, and subsequent amendments.
The Body therefore plays a central role in the implementation and operational coordination of regional policies on thermal systems and energy certification, in line with both national and EU regulatory frameworks.
